English Breakfast Tea, is a staple of British culture and as the name implies, is the ideal accompaniment for a hearty breakfast. This full-bodied, black tea blend is often taken with milk and sugar. While accounts of the blend’s origins vary, the first known published accounts of English Breakfast Tea are ironically traced back to a New York based tea merchant in 1843. While the origins can be debated, it is universally accepted that blends featuring Ceylon Tea are the best.
